Ebay does not require that kind of stuff. Nor do they have links in emails. Hopefully you just didnt give out your info

I got the same thing but from paypal, good thing i looked at the return email adress carefully. Bastards alomost got me. >:(

i hate those, i got that same email, cept it was for paypal. the email name was "services@paypal.com" insteal of "service@paypal.com

just watch the emails.

ebay will pretty much never email you unless its for a promotional deal.

and even then they direct you to go directly to ebay.com and check it out.

scam emails usually have some wack ass web address link.

yeah...sometime you can tell by holding the mouse over the link...and it looks like ebay..but then it changes to some wacky thing. ive gotten tons of scam emails from actual ebay or paypal addresses..they arent hard to change. forward them to spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com. they usually reply within the hour telling you if it was a scam or not.

Sounds like you just got phished. I'd call the bank asap if your paypal is linked to your credit card. And get ahold of eBay's support people. I suggest you do it before they buy loads of ----, and leave you with the bill.

funny thing is. I set a specific email account for my Ebat account, it never gets the scam spam.

But my other 4 accounts do............delete..........

I get those all the time. What you do to find out if they are legit is rest the curser over the link they want you to go to. If it has a bunch of numbers or letters and ---- before the ebay.com or paypal.com part, its fake...

Yeah, but you have to contact ebay and cancel the other one if not they will start selling stuff and scamming people under your name, and you will be held responsible and then you have to clear your name out. If they can hack into your paypal account, they can take all your money from your personal accounts. Let ebay know ASAP and Paypal too.
