do u really need distribution box or not
 
hey i threw the batt in the back i just ran a 4g wire from the starter striaght to the batt is that good or bad leave it that way or fix it, it works though

its fine, but you should really box up the rear battery and vent it to the outside, or get one of those sealed batteries (optima style) cause when batteries charge, they release a poisonous and explosive gas. Also, you're gona wana place a fuse as close to the battery as possible, in case the 4g wire running to the front gets a tick in it and shorts out. And I believe in NHRA/IHRA rules, If you have a relocated battery, you need a cut off switch on the outside back of the vehicle. Since most tracks follow the NHRA rule book, they'll probly make you get one before you can do any runs down the quarter.

its got to be properly ventilated too.

yeah its got to have a vent tube from the box to the outside of the vehicle. and those marine battery boxes arent NHRA proven. Get a Moroso or a Summitracing box. and get a the switch that isnt plastic! ;)

its well ventalated i used the stock batt bottom and just drilled some holes and bolted it down and used batt tied down ---- and its petty good i used stock batt but i am going to put my optioma in
