---- happens and orders get delayed sometimes. From that conversation it seems they did all they could, you can't always get results instantly when you talk to customer service. Wait a week like he said.
I know, you've already waited a few weeks. Give it some time. I know it's not your fault and you aren't happy, but you can't do anything else about it right now. |

There's a rash of no name websites out there that put a fancy picture up on thier site, and all the orders are drop shipped from the actual owners of the parts. It's not a completely bad system, but it's easy to ---- up and the fly by night websites are good at it.
I recently ordered a pretty uncommon part recently because I had heard the manufacturer can take 6 months to make them. I just wanted to see how long it would take, but it showed a week later uneventful. :'( Drop shipped as well. |

I HATE outsourced customer support. They rarely understand what my complaint or problem is and give me all the wrong answers. They're annoying too because I can talk all the crap I want and they never let it get to them...
I work at customer support for cingular, and I hate people. Be rude to me and i'm not scared to hit the "release call" button. Bastards... Anyway yeah it's pretty crappy of them to do that. But there really isn't much they can do about the manufacturer being backordered. |

A company with real customer service would have allowed you to cancel the order, once they found out that the parts were "on high DEMAND" and were going to be back ordered forever.

Good point Craig. If the parts were in such high demand, WTF do they care that you want to cancel it? If it was in high demand it'd be resold the next minute.
