We had $500 in the turbo Justy. It was pretty sweet, needed a Megasquirt as the $5 AFC hack didn't cut it. Ping ping ping ringland.

Anyway, regarding the turbo Loyale sedan (never seen a non-RS trim level Loyale sedan before): EA82T is an okay beater engine, the RHB5 on it is good for 170 whp which is about all the EA82T can take according to net lore - but those era Scoob guys are cranking the boost on a tiny turbo and using stock engine management so who knows. Be prepared to replace crank and cam seals every 20-30K, otherwise they are decently reliable when stock, good beaters prone to rust. I dunno about the turbo vehicles, but the NA EA82 cars it was easier to pull the engine when doing the clutch, even on the 2WD units.

Some people would pay $1650 for a rust free 83K mile car, especially old school Scoob fans.

Some of the earlier bodystyle cars came with the pushrod motors, unlike the later OHC EA82's. Very nice engines, IMO.

We used to eat LSD and go mudding in a BRAT up Spivey, back in HS. Loads and loads of fun riding in the back and having to get out and push. Good times.

The seats in the back of the BRAT made it a "passenger car", to avaid the heavy tarrifs put on import pickup trucks at the time.
