pretty cool but considering how delicate the LCD and controls are it kinda kills its practicality. Could be fun if you have some money to spare and don't mind the hum of the projector.

It has to be fairly dark in the room for the picture to show up decent. Bascially only a night time deal.

You only have problem in the daylight if there is direct sunlight entering the room and you don't have functional curtains/blinds.

Those things get pretty damn hot too. I'm sure that kills the life span. Also, whoever said white walls work, you want a grayish color wall it'll give you much better contrast.

for a cheaper/slightly more ghetto picture you can always just buy a ready made LCD projection panel. They run 50-100 bucks. Much lower quality than a nicer ripped apart monitor... but they are already wrapped up in a nice durable shell w/ cooling fans.
