depending on where its located i would thing it does not have enough heat and will take for ever to spool, but then again corvettes usually do rear mounted turbos so i dont know looks cool

Heat doesnt spool the turbo... I dont understand why people think this.

Because it doesnt.

Heat does help maintain velocity on a certain level, but the force of expanding gases (and thereby the process of the gasses cooling) is what spools and maintains turbine shaft speed.

Turbo bolted to exhaust manifold > remote mount because not much time for exhaust to slow in that distance. Doesnt mean remote mount wont work, just doesnt work as well.

you got it backwards, gas DECREASES in volume when it cools.
