Re: Direct TV Pirate Cards, Where ta get em???
I have been in the Sat game since "Hash Fridays".
I know a lot of people that got fucked by the companies that sold them their hardware. The gov't shut people down and offered to let em slide if they gave up their invoices. So the companies jsut fucked everyone and let the names go. Thank god I havn't gotten my DTV Letter yet. But many have and it costs thousands.
If you are not in possesion of the emulating and programming harware, then you have missed the boat. Better that you just find someone that will help you first hand, and not over the internet.
DTV is still outta the hackable arena, for the most part. Dish Network is still wide open.

Just not worth the money most of the time.
Just do the share plan. Get a couple people to go in on service and then just have the receivers at different locations. This is against the rules that you say you will obey, but it is better than breaking the "digital Millenium act", which makes is a federal crime to steal sat signal.
I think to get every channel from DTV is $100 or so. That is $30 per person if you get 2 other buddies. Well worth it in my opinion.

Re: Direct TV Pirate Cards, Where ta get em???
i think i remember reading a big story about this crap a while back, a company would send little bits of data to the recievers and nobody knew what was really going on, until all the data was sent out to the recievers and it automatically upgraded the reciever so only special cards would work ruining their old cards... i think thats how it went, ah dude some things just aren't worth it, thats all it would take for the person who hooked you up to get busted and they get a deal where they don't get hit so bad if they nark, and then your in the crapper too. just do what the other guy said and get some friends and go in on a deal

I had some friends get busted when one of the canadian firms that sold some of the hacking hardware got popped. They wound up having to pay the sat company about 5g's. They had the hacked setup for about 2 years I think.
The better question would be are there any effective hacks for cable service now, with digital having all the good stuff?
