Dimebag Darrell of Damage Plan and Pantera Shot and Killed
 

So last nite in Columbus Ohio, a carzy fan/person whatever came one stage during damage plans 1st song and shot dimebag darrell about 5x at point blank killing him. Then went on to shoot and kill a bouncer and 3 fans. Then the police shot the gunman 6x and killed him.

It'd be like offing slash, eddie van halen or joe perry. Dimebag has been aorund since early 80's with Pantera, who prolly wont have a reunion tour now (no pun intended), but thats fucked up if you cant even be safe at a concert, the fans, workers and bands....

Most club security guards only make minimum wage or slightly higher. They are basically there to take their aggressions out of drunk people, pick up drunk girls, and pretend to live the rock star lifestyle since they were rejected from law enforcement. No one should feel safe with security around because when ---- goes down, they are running just as fast as the customers. If it weren't for the real cop that showed up, there would have been a lot more dead people in that club.

shits real fucked up now. two days ago a 14 year old boy made an 8 year old boy give him head on a bleacher in a ball park at night and the 14yo got caugth and it came out in the news. some 11 year old boy sliced a 10 yo boys' throat with a nife and killed him in the school bathroom a few months ago too. in miami.

Yeah that does suck. I heard it on the radio today too but they were saying 2 of the band members were shot dead and they could only release the name of Dimebag Darrell.
What the hell was the guy's problem and how did he get into the show with a gun and enough ammo to do that :-\

yeah i have all there stuff and he was a pioneer in the metal industry.i saw there last gig here in houston a few years back the trendkiller tour.---- my neck still hurts from that one.... :P sucks to have mental fuckups in the world taking everything we enjoy doing.if its not someone tring to steal our car its someone killing off our music.

Why is that gay? I guarentee you the shitbag that did the shooting didn't have any sort of permit to carry a weapon. Do you think if they didn't give out permits you would be safer? Murderers don't take the time to register their weapons and take safety courses and get permits. Guns will always be there, no matter what laws are enforced. I feel much better knowing that I'm allowed to carry a concealed weapon legally since I know there are so many people out there who carry weapons illegally. If we take the guns away from the good people, the bad people will be in complete control. That would be like "Come and get me, I'm unarmed." :-\

And I personally, in this day and age, am going to get a carrying permit/gun as soon as I can. I don't trust anyone these days and if you've ever actually looked into it, guns were used more in deterring crimes than actually committing crimes.. but good news doesnt sell, does it? ::)

dime is/ was one of the most influential metal players to date... without him and pantera in the early 90's a lot of the music today wouldnt exhist.
