because most people grow into a turbo setup. so before they go turbo they want a decent N/A motor and buy a Vtec one. same reason why you don't see too many LS swaps. and have you ever seen an H23 swap?

not answering yoru question buit I remember seeing some jackass magazine article on some turbod vtec car. they discussed the advantages of vtec, then ran the car on the dyno normal then disconnected the vtec solenoid and ran it.

kyle, you're right, but you do it a different way, you still use the Vtec head, but you use a Vtec delete system, basically it is always on the big lobe (because ther is no little lobe anymore, which is a big mother ****** lobe in that sense
