Did you know?

Re: Did you know?
It means that the rest of the world is going to cause the world to be over populated and the US will be the last of it kind to have land for farming.
And the computer ----, it's going to dominate us after we make a 100% self independant A.I being! Were setting our selves up for extinction |
Re: Did you know?
interesting indeed.

Re: Did you know?
Population growth is declining. Equilibrium is targeted at 2040, and world population will sharply decline after.

Re: Did you know?
I plan to single handedly over populate the world

Re: Did you know?
lol a computer smarter then a human by 2013. Nice prediction except exactly how do we determine the limits of the human mind exactly in a quantitative way so as to compare it with the computer? It took us 13 years just to sequence the genome with massive amounts of computing power. Forget about decoding what it all means in our lifetimes. This commercial reminds me of the ones they had in the 50's with the flying cars we would all be driving by now supposedly.

TV show Beynond 2000.Now you got me thinking in opposite effect. We really hav gotton no where with cars. Nomwonder that they are wanting a BAILOUT ASS |
Re: Did you know?
I agree, take it all with a grain of salt. Remember, we should be living on the moon by now.

Re: Did you know?
they didnt say the computer would be smarter, just have more power, dont ask me how they figured that out though.
Its not that hard to believe though, you can go buy a PS3 now that has more power than a supercomputer from the year 2000 with 9000 processors in it , probably costing millions and millions of dollars. |
Re: Did you know?
amount of neuron connections determines comp power of brain.
neuron connection vs silicon silicon keeps shrinking but we also keep getting smarter since we know more then yesterday every day. also unused "connections" in the brain get rooted out and eliminated. the more you study in different fields the more you will know |
