The reason phelps won is because ln.4 picked his head up durring his finish. I have been a competition swimmer for 14 years and one of the first things I learned when I was 6 yrs old was to keep you're godamn head down on the finish, it cost him his olympic gold. .01 is not an uncommon split between fast swimmers
