The hunting accident happened during his private life, not while he was really "on the clock". His personal life isn't really any of anybody's business as it doesn't effect the country. Of course the media making it a story that he didn't tell the right media, at the right time is just a crock of ----. If you accidently sprayed your friend with birdshot and the media makes you out to be a murderer, I'm sure you wouldn't stall for the best possible way of letting them know what happened. The media is looking to crucify anyone in the administration for any reason, at any time. This "story" is just further evidence.
First they cry about privacy, and the next week they're crying about the VP not offering information about things he does in his personal life. Double standard, and still not a story.
