302 would be a better choice, with a t-5 tranny and aluminum heads and water pump it will weigh less then a t2

It's a straightforward project with good results. I think you have no clue what you're doing, I think your goals are way out there and you should really figure out what you want out of the car, plan for it, budget it, and do it. Don't say, oh... well... I'm gunna probably supercharge it maybe if I have the money. Not going to end up well. Hope you come to your senses and twin turbo it. Have a nice day
compression 9.5:1 good performance and not too high to where i cant add a super charger the short block is 1800 from revolutionary performance the grannys kit about 300 for the basic kit i know i have to get a radiator and drive shaft the engine will cost $4973.67 to build ohh yeah thats with tax and i have it all figured out i made a complete parts list from jegs with prices and part #'s and i have a 84 chevy truck with a 350 build by me so trust me i know more than you think.

I guess you stand corrected

And sounds like you didn't spend enough time in school. Punctuation is a good tool, you should use it. So you're not going to get the whole kit from Granny's? That would give you the driveshaft and radiator, all your problems solved. Just because you have some prices out of a Jeg's catalog doesn't mean I stand corrected there buddy. I'll stand corrected when you get your ---- done.

I bought the radiator kit and driveshaft and stuff from granny's and i definatly think it was worth the extra cost. You dont have to deal with any problems at all. And the radiator looks great!
