Detailing LInks.....(Just trying to help some out)

I just posted this in one of my previous threads. After writing it, I thought there was enough good information in it to start up a new thread. Hope you all don't mind. Maybe one day we could even have a "Detailing Section" here since all of us are DIY'ers.

I get all of my supplies from www.autogeek.net

Here is the special they are running.......
http://autogeek.net/

Here is the polish that I used.......
http://www.autogeek.net/dp535.html

If you are really serious about detailing your car, you need to get the Porter Cable Polisher. You can get a nice kit with this polish. Yeah, it costs some but you will never achieve the same results by hand. Plus, get good with it and do others cars. You'll make you money back super fast.

Here's some kits that I'd recommend....
http://www.autogeek.net/ed20pocacoki.html
(If anyone wants this kit, I'll get you the polish thrown in for free. I have a little pull over there at AutoGeek. Just PM me and let me know. I just really love the EDGE pad sustem. It's what I use everyday.)

Or this one.....
http://www.autogeek.net/dp-dual-action-kit.html
(You get all of the DP Polishes in this one. The pads are good. You can always upgrade later to the EDGE pad system)

Here are two awesome videos showing how to use this machine......
(They are about half way down)

I will do all I can to answer questions. PM me if you wish but I'd love to keep it in the forum so all can learn!

Justin

Once I get a proper paint job on one of my cars I'll probably look into this stuff a little more seriously.

While I'm posting in here, do you know of anything that will take brake dust off of wheels? I've got these little spots of like...burnt on brake dust on my new Konig wheels and it's pissing me off.

That's about the best picture I have of the wheels.

Audi's have some of the hardest clearcoats there is. Called ceramiclear. Same for Vettes. You would be doing yourself justice by getting that kit. Once you use that machine, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Remember, the 20% off ends tomorrow night.

Meguiar's Hot Rims is the best over the counter rim cleaner. Safe too. Eagle One makes a nice wheel and tire cleaner all in one. Meguiar's Detailer Line has Wheel Brightner. It's what I use. You cut 4 parts water to 1 part chemical making it very economical.

Here's the link for it.......
