Thanks man. I'll post all of my details then.

Some spend the money to just get it back and then they maintain it. After the initial detail. It would cost 125.00 per month for me to maintain this one.

For that money you would get:
(4) Washes/Vacs
***Includes Tire, wheels, jams, wheel wells, windows, all plastic cleaned and treated, and vacuuming of the entire car...trunk and under seats.
(1) Waxing per month. This isn't a cheap wax either.
Here's what I use....

where do you get that polish that you used? My gf's car some some of those deep *** scratches and I'm gona detail her car as soon as all the snow clears. I've tried regular meguiars polish, but that didnt do much. I need something more "coarse".

I get all of my supplies from www.autogeek.net

Here is the special they are running.......

Here is the polish that I used.......

If you are really serious about detailing your car, you need to get the Porter Cable Polisher. You can get a nice kit with this polish. Yeah, it costs some but you will never achieve the same results by hand. Plus, get good with it and do others cars. You'll make you money back super fast.

Here's some kits that I'd recommend....
http://www.autogeek.net/ed20pocacoki.html
(If anyone wants this kit, I'll get you the polish thrown in for free. I have a little pull over there at AutoGeek. Just PM me and let me know. I just really love the EDGE pad sustem. It's what I use everyday.)

Or this one.....
http://www.autogeek.net/dp-dual-action-kit.html
(You get all of the DP Polishes in this one. The pads are good. You can always upgrade later to the EDGE pad system)

Here are two awesome videos showing how to use this machine......
(They are about half way down)
http://www.autogeek.net/po.html

I will do all I can to answer questions. PM me if you wish but I'd love to keep it in the forum so all can learn!

Definately need a PC 7424!
---- poo-boys.
Meguiar's DACP is great, and for tough ---- Diamond Cut 2.0 is even better. Better yet. You can always find it locally...
PC is for newbies. Real men own rotary buffers too.

However.... You can actually take out sratches & remove paint at a descent rate with a PC, aginst popular belief, if you use a terry cloth bonnett & a high end cutting polish (Diamond Cut / Top PooBoy's, that kinda stuff). It's not as quick, or as hot as a rotary buffer... But I've done it many times before.
It's a good trick to know that you won't find most places.

Depends on the car. For most colors, ---- it. Wash - clay - wash with a good slick shampoo. Polish the bitch with DACP or an equivilent. Then on goes the Klasse twins, with a second layer of Sealant Glaze wipe on / wipe off.
The simple truth is that nothing is going to last nearly as long, nor look any damned better lmao! It's also ungodly quick.

For black...
Wash clay wash
Diamond Cut
DACP
Vanilla Moose glaze
Carbauba Moose topper in 2 coats. It's a hair better looking than P21s/S100, and cheaper. But it applies / removes quicker & can be used on a hotter surface without caking.
Or if you don't want to play with it every few weeks, just do the klasse twins. If you do 2+ layers of SG, unlike synthetic waxes, klasse will begin to get a deeper, wetter look like most carnabua's. (Instead of your typical reflective synthetic wax look. Which isn't really what you're trying to get msot of the time with black.)

I've found quick detailing to be idiotic at this point... The simple truth is that if you buy a ------- OXO wash brush, and a large waffle weave towel to do one pass over the paint, then get the glass. You can wash & dry a car faster than you can quick detail a car... And if your shampoo is worth a ----, it'll be slick enough to not strip off the wax. When I do quick detail tho. It's all about some Quik Shine. Clearkote makes some good ----. Some of it is great, tip tops. Some of it is just your typical better than average good.

Yeah i have a heavy duty rotary polisher and the stealthy's paint is really oxidized and has some scratches and some darker spots from the previous riceboys decals so i need somthing that is gonna take some material off but not be abrasive enough that im gonna ---- ---- up.

I think you're one of the best members we have. Very helpful and clear on advice. It's nice to hear some new advice and you give all your secrets. $80 for that wax is about crazy, but if you had to spend (alot) less on (normal car guy) wax what would be your choice? I rock Meguier's (sp) Fast Wax mostly because that's what my Dad has always used.

P.S. That detail job is amazing.
