If I had your job, I would shoot myself. Twice. It's probably a good thing you like doing it. Seems the most money is made by doing something that people are smart enough to do, they just couldn't bring themselves to do it. Good job. Let me know when you're coming to Minnesota. I've got a 2000 Sentra that I love, and a wife who's a pig. :6

6.9L, 7.3L, 6.0L, 6.4L, All built bt International. 7.3...yeah pretty much bullet proof. We see alot of local farmers beat the ----------ing piss out of them and they pretty much go forever, the body will probably fall apart first. The biggest problem with 6.0 is aftermarket chips, the way the head is heald down and headgaskets. Other than that is kind of a piece of chit. The 6.4L, so far, has been almost flawless. I had to pull the cab on one beacause of a wiring problem under ther high pressure fuel pump cover, but other than that they are pretty solid, quiet and clean.
2003.25 was when the 6.0L officially debuted. |

I'd appreciate a write-up as well.
Do you clay all your first time customers/vehicles? How exactly do you clean the interior? Spray and rubbing it out with a rag? I don't understand how you clean the interior in the cold. Wouldn't it take forever to dry? |

Wouldn't it take forever to dry? I only clay if the car needs it or if the customer wants to pay for it. Most of my compounds will remove what most claying will anyways. Only bad stuff like sap, over spray, and serious neglect warrant claying. Interiors are easy.....if you know what to use. Folex, which can be found at Home Depot, is the best for fabrics and carpets. It will not foam either. When I spray a stain with it, 75% of the time it's gone before I have to even touch it! I then simply use a damp microfiber towel to blot the remains up. Then vacuum. How get it dry you say? Crack all window about a half an inch. Crank the vehicle. Turn the heat onto the floor, off of recirculating, put the A/C on. The heat the A/C together will evaporate the moisture and out the windows it goes. I do this while I work on the paint correcting. Hope this will tide you all over some! |
