del sol problem

i have a 93 del sol with a 95 gsr motor in it and right around 1500-2000 rpms the motor starts pulsing up until about 2500 rpms. does anyone know what is wrong?

That is pretty vauge of a question dude, thats just like saying..

"my car makes a funny noise in the rear, anyone know what it is?"

What have you checked?

get a book for your car, locate the ecu, check for codes. Sometimes your ecu will have a code but the check engine light wont come on.

ok the motor surges like rev limit at 1500rpm. the ecu gives me the code for intake air temp. the wiring harness that i have does not have that on it.

check for spark. if you dont have spark at these rpms your distributor is bad.

trust me, i just expierienced this ---- and its gonna make all kinda wierd codes. i kept getting a evap systems failure not knowing wtf it was. turns out the itc is part of the evap system, no spark, no evap.

but yeah sounds like a sparking issue, pull one of the wires and rev it under the hood. if your spark is fine, check fuel and the throttle body.
