its easy as hell to score some 89-91 rear control arms.

You should also get a rear anti sway bar if you dont already have one.

Basically i have the same thought, i've done the ball-joints, looks like previous owner did a rebuilt rack, replaced motor mounts with filled ones (took like a week to dry :X), and various other cheap ----. So basically i've been saving up for the last 2 months and i'm ready to just start dropping it on my car. First things to do is all the suspension and next target will be getting rid of these what look like 2 inch brakes :P.

Kyb doesn't make the agx's for rear on 88's (at least they dont list them under their applications page).

After checking the rear I was surprised that the car didn't come with a rear sway bar, so maybe i can go all chingo-bling and do the rear disk swap, making life alot easier on those struts.

just go to the local yard and pick up some lower control arms. takes 10 seconds to unbolt and they cost like 6 bucks each, and that way you can get some from a car with a sway bar so your rear arms have a sway bar mounting hole.

Or call local yard and have them tell you that they won't let you have the LCA's and that you should go to a dealer because "Man, they will be just a rusty as the ones you have on now."
