that does suck for apc, quite a few people loose their jobs, just another blow to the import industry, after all, it says right on the box, that the lights are for off road use only, i think it's retarded how taillamps and such absolutely have to conform to a certain code, that just makes for the big auto companies to be the only ones able to produce replacement parts for their vehicles, and not thrid party manufacturers.

APC sucks. They employed all of about 20-30 people, and they were all jackasses, or cholos in the warehouse. They thought they were the ----. Come to find out, they were the ----, a piece of ----.


I remember I used to go there to pick up parts for this shop I worked at, and my sales rep told me he hadn't been around to get my phone calls because they were "working on the racecar". lol. I asked him if it had showtubes in it. hahaha. APC was probably the single biggest bad image given to imports other than thieving cholos.

Do a quick search on ebay for clear tailights guys. APC started the crap. Society accepted it. Im still shocked it took this long hell clear tailights came out in like 97, only 10 years. Ill almost promise APC has already started a new company under a new name. Look out for legal gay looking tailights at a Speed Shop near you :)

In all honesty on the west coast most of the fast cars are being built by mexicans so you gotta give respect where its due but yes majority of them are sporting lowered stock accords with a muffler and tailights but isnt that 99 percent of what people do, I think so. Wanna make money invest 20 grand into getting mufflers made in China. Its crossed my mind many times

Word. People like Jeff Frank who have done some rad stuff and gone against the bull ---- that is h-t and typical honda culture. Build a car for what you want not what some kid down the street wants, hence why I have been an all motor D fan for years(what I have built also) and why I have all my money in an old 1st gen crx w/ weber carbs. This is what true builders worked with. Thought, a couple bucks and the joy of having people calling them bricks.The best advice I have for people who hate ricers is keep building motors people dont want d series, ls's without vtechh ,attempt something new, and buy alot of tools.
