The cause of Ottoson's death hasn't been determined, pending the results of an autopsy. An official statement from the group is expected later on Wednesday (April 20).
The band had been on tour with Mudvayne, Life of Agony and Bloodsimple. For now, American Head Charge are expected to miss the next three dates of the tour at the very least — it's unclear whether they will be rejoining the package trek going forward.

In the same article, **** alludes to the fact that alcohol and drug abuse has nearly ended the band in the past.

Re: DEATH OF AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE GUITARIST
i haven't seen the guy in while. we worked at the same dealership and i don't exactly hang around there anymore. it was such a small building, everyone was practically family there.
but any time i stopped in to talk, he was so proud of his brother and what he had accomplished, it's just soo sad. i met the guy a few times and he was sooo kind and really funny.

That ---- happened a while ago, and you're posting it now?
American Head Charge is a local band here in the Twin Cities. They're pretty good if you're into that type of music. Sucks for AHC fans.
