I stopped being "a little girl" today by accident. I reinstalled my 450's and got all the pipes attached that I got in the mail the other day to start boosting again. Well, I was playing with the manual boost controller and turned it too much and hit 14psi today by accident and blew off a charge pipe. The map sensor didn't throw a code, must not have been boosting long enough?

That's my story, I backed the boost controller off and let the spring in the tial take over. 6psi spring, by the time the wastegate opens, the boost gauge only reads 4.9psi.. oh well, better safe than sorry.

Moral of the story... 14psi felt great.

i though since your factory spring is 6lbs you could only double the boost to 12lbs max with a mbc?

nope.. you can go pretty high with it.

You can set whatever boost you want with a manual boost controller. All it does is restrict the amount of air that your wastegate sees.

I have a boosted b18 LS motor. I post some short video clips, but the sound and video sucks.
