Default Deal or no deal? -Streetbike

1995 Kawasaki ZXR750 with 25k miles. Guy wants $2500 for it. Has a few minor scratches and a small crack(can hardly see) in the fairing, but he says it's never been down that he knows of (only owned it since July). Seems like a good deal even though it's old as ****, but these bikes were the ---- back in the day.

What if I ride it really slow and never break the speed limit?

I'm bias towards fi bikes, and I never much liked the kawi green. 1800-2k would be a deal though.

The green kinda kills it for me, too. I'm also looking at a 97 GSXR600 for the same price, but I don't want to be getting smoked by mildly modded Z28's.

Yeah but you seem to come up with some crazy deals.

I offered him $2000. If he accepts I'll be cruising it around tomorrow. The guy is 21 with a newborn, no job and hurting for money. I figure waving $2000 in his face should get a signed title pretty quick. I might feel bad for a few minutes afterwards though. :P
