No you really did ---- your friend, he gave you a supposed mint CRX which is worth 2-3,000 depending on who you ask and in return you gave him a 300 dollar motor and 250 bucks cash.

I think I got it so cheap because the gooks knew it had some problems. I got it, it needed a windsheild, timing belt (which I found out the hard way) water pump, (found out the hard way) battery, it had ripped up seats, needed a clutch... and a few other things.

After all of that, and my $1000 inspection, I still have around $2700 in it.

But, we could also look at it this way.
I sold my civic in the states (the purple one in my sig) for $700. I bought my toyota levin for $700. I sold that for $1400 which bought my black SiR, I then sold that for $2400 which bought my blue SiR. So in reality, I only bought my civic that I now own for $700. I have put in a few parts, so thats where I get my $2700.

Ive seen SiR's on yahoo auctions japan go for as much as $6k. There was one IDENTICAL to mine, down to the wheels that went for $6200. although, it had a b20vtec in it.
