I guess a compression check will only tell.


Heres the deal I drove to school today and i hit 100+mph for a very very short stretch like a dumb ass. Well when I get to school I got a knock. The engine idles fine, but it has a knock around 2500 rpm and above. Sound like a blown engine? I was hoping it was the turbo but it sure is loud.

check your valves, they may be loose. thats what happened in my old civic when i would rod on it for too long.

But it wasnt in a school zone f00l. It was on a 4 laner.
