Daytona Meet, Our Big ASS SE meet....(2 pics)
 

Okay so like you read in the other thread, only 4 people showed up. I now some people had other things to do, is not like it was set 6 months ago so people could plan, right? ::) ::) ::) ::)

Anyhow, It was good to meet 3 other guys that I have talked to for, damn over a year, and only good things can come from that. Future meets, dyno and install days. We will see.

I took about 8 pics before my batteries on the digi cam took a dump. Biggmike took some more with his camera that will come later on. For some strange reason the last 4 pics I took did not come out, all I have is a black rectangle so that takes me down to only 2 pics. Yeah it sucks, kinda like the meet. But here they are.

Here are the 3 cars that were still there. Drag_on had a problem, something broke, or he felt some vibration on a wheel, so he left quick and I could not take a picture of his car.

As you can see 3 cars, my WRX, FactoryMadeTurbo, Biggmike's frog hatch, and Researcher's pimp ass lude.

And a picture of my engine bay, took at the meet, WOO WOO.

Nothing big, Check out all the dust and sand in there, I keep it there for weight distribution. Also you can see my ebay STi style strut bar, which is painted hot pink, Turbo XS BOV, and short ram intake.

I'll be in the area in a couple of months.. I hate going to daytona so maybe we can reschedule for a st. augustine meet? Let me know if a crowd is up for a reshow. Oh and I bet kevin took a job as a guide in an all boys summer camp.. that sick ----!

how bout orlando? seems like a good amount of HMTers are there. maybe just post up a SE meet and see what location has the most people and make it there.

it wasnt really a meet it was weird since there was only us three and davcivic's gf. we just stood there talk about how it sucked and then looked at our cars and then left.

holy crap, thats sucks, i couldnt come becasue i just got my suspposedly revocated license back on friday, my ss charge pipes will not hold together, with home depot connectors, its insane, i put duck tape on teh ends, and then some pvc glue, then teh connectors all teh way around, and 10 psi still made them pop off. So, i ordered all new silicone connectors and t-bolt clamps, will be here soon.

And the afc hack is running like complete ass, i cant stand driving it for 10 minutes, let alone an hour, i ordered my burn1 burner and uberdata kit, will be here soon. So thats what kept me from coming. Didint work out having ot pay 70 bucks for a license, got pulled over and found out teh hard way, ------- sucked. Got a ticekt, but was told it means nothing since it was my first offense.

Bah next time we can have an orlando meet at my house i got a pool and barbque and dont like my neighbors so burnouts and stupid ---- would fly ;D

I will be in Jacksonville for a little while, I'll be carless but game for whatever.

I said st. augustine cause there is ---- to do, like 5 bars within walking distance on st. george street.. plus we could always hang out a piece of fruit and see what tourist chicks we can drag in.

Daytona pretty much sucks, there are much nicer beachs in florida then it (yeah I've lived 20+ years in florida). I know some good beach spots that we could hang out, like guana state park or something in that area. Tail gate party anyone?

Keep your options open, but I'm game for meeting up with the rest of you psycho fucks.

Projecteg has had a few problems kinda out of his control. No one has heard from him, and Im still tryin to get in touch with him. (we live in the same town) I havent even seen him around town :-\ I will see if I can get ahold of him and see whats up. If I could get some leave, I would be at the next one, but I cant request it 'till 3 weeks out so...

Maybe something else could be put together?

Well its running and lets leave it at that... lol
Im gonna do some tuning on it this week hopefully. I also need to fix an oil leak or two (small ones). Oh and i need to do somethign about my fluttering BOV (teed into the TB vac source by itself)

I'll bring it to the next meet :)

an empty road
and lots of trial and error
