driving over to spokane, 8:30 at night about 3 miles before i get into ritsville, just cruise control at 90 over a ridge and bam, i see the impalla chilln on the other side of the road. i slam my brakes, hit 75. i watch him take his sweet mary time pulling across, coming over the center and merging into the I90 east traffic that was all of 3 cars at the time including myself. i'm still pretty far up, thinking ok he's going slow maybe he'll just keep driving up and pass me like the other 2 cars. nope. he speeds up right next to me after about 3 minutes, pulls up right next to me then tosses up the lights.

so i'm like ----, i pull over. pull out license registration and insurance, ya its all good. then he starts poking around with his flashlight and sees my 5" butterfly sitting in my center console, i totally had not been thinking about it, he reaches in "i'll just take that for a second" he says. "these are illegal ya kno" no officer i didnt know that sorry. "well we'll just put htat up here for a minute" and he sticks in on my roof then walks back, runs my info and comes back and says "well we dont want your criminal career starting off with possession of this high quality weapon here so we'll just make that disappear" at which point he takes it and hands me the ticket for $132 and tells me to have a nice night. now, the thing htat pisses me off is that a) he took the knife, and b) its a POS chinaman rip-off fake of a butterfly. so basically he was a total dick about it, he then followed me for about a mile then pulled off again on the side.

i'm a male, i'm 19, i drive a 1997 honda accord, been rear ended and had the car broken into and radio stolen, the LAST thing i need is for my already overpriced insurance to go up even more...

...i need a shot of grey goose...hell give me a whole handle...sigh

I have done several road trips and honeslty out of every state I have ever been pulled over. WA State Patrol is by far the biggest cock suckers in the world. I've gotten 2 Aircop tickets from those guys, and I never get "warnings"

You had an accord, you should of tried to outrun him ;)

i don't think that cop was a dick, he let you go w/ out arresting you for the butterfly kknife.

It does suck, but I would be sort of relieved because there was no charge or problems with the knife. It still sucks to get a ticket, but it could have been worse.

i got pulled over a bit ago with no registration or insurance and i had my butterfly in the car too.... in the end I just gave it to him because i didn't really feel like dealing with it. - the second time i'd had it in my car and gotten pulled over-. somehow tho i'm 0-6 on getting pulled over

think about what you have in the car, think about what could happen, prepare your mind and you wont let ---- like that happen. you should have hidden it, i keep an asp in my car, one of those battons that cops have that snap out in 3 pecies, but i make sure i hide it, because the last one got taken in a police search and he said its a felony.

Usually at all times I have a tonfa(police baton)x2 and a bokken(wooden sword) in my car... I didn't know it could be a felony though.

dont drive 90 ------- miles per hour down the highway and you wont get pulled over :1

80 would be my limit while crusing... >:D coz usually when ur doing 90 u are faster then most of the cars.
