I agree with them taking a fee (and I charge it to the buyer), but they shouldnt say its gonna be 3% when they are going to charge more. Thats bullshit.

I'm done with both Egay and Paypal. Some import hacked my ---- and sold some bullshit and fucked both my Egay and my Paypal and there is nothing I can do. They suspended me from Egay and put my Paypal negative. ---- them if they think I'm going to pay for that ----.

It's more than 3%. It's 3%, plus $0.30 per something something. If you read deep enough into the charges, you'll find that they nickel and dime you to death.

For every industry there is usually more than one company with a product/service. This doesn't seem to be the case with paypal/ebay, and that's why they tax you to make ungodly profits for a service that costs them very little per transaction.

that happened to me last week, but ebay fixed it and emailed to tell me to change my passwords
some hacker took over my account and was bidding on stuff like bucks and guitars, and stuff that cost over $5000, I was like why the ---- would I bid on a $5000 dollar book, you know I am black right? so I immediately called my wife because white people do ---- like that. she was inoocent, so I try to report it to ebay, and everytime I send the message, it says I cant report myself, I was getting messages about items I sold and did not ship. so I changed all my passwords, so now I will change my password every month to prevent these **** from getting my ----.

jeez lemme shed some light on this. INTERNATIONAL payments, for the most part, has a HIGHER fee. Look it up, it shows up somewhere. Sounds right, it's 2.9% for Domestic payments and international payments you get charged like a percent more. Happened to me before too, but it ain't no real biggie. I don't think Canada is included if some of you people are gonna bounce back with that, I only said domestic just to simplify things.


Oh and buyers should NOT pay for the paypal fees, you want the money faster, so you accept paypal. If you don't wanna pay the fees, don't utilize that option. I buy ---- all the time and most of the time I buy it because I want to use PayPal and not send a money order. And to you sellers that are pissy about PayPal fees, another alternative to money orders where your buyer can still use a credit card is BidPay. For that service the BUYER pays the fees for the money order (buyer pays bid pay (western union) and bidPay/western union sends you a money order).

PayPal is bullshit. I hate it, but it's way too convenient. Another option I explored in the past was ikobo. Look it up, it's pretty cool, but paypal is still preferred by me.
