LOL yeah they never bother me about my car here either (CT). I don't see the big deal. A car is either road worthy, or not. It's not like enough people modify their cars / remove cats / etc that it really makes a huge differnce in the overall air quality. It was the 60's that fucked everything up!

Now we have to pay for it (bastards!). At least they had some kick as cars back then [which are still driving around, running pig rich w/o cats, polluting 200x more than any normal car!]

Thats bs MSD are legal ,most cops leave me alone. Im kinda surprised since my car is primer flat black ,usually means im carring a gun ,i have something to hide ,or i don't want any attention

Ca. does suck ***. The exhaust is only illegal if you change it for the sole purpose of making it louder. Other than that they have a DB test they are suppost to do, but they don't, and your not going to challenge them. That's why they do it. For once someone should actually go through the court proceedings to prove the ****** just gave you a ticket without cause.
Ca. sucks *** because instead of paying a $10 fine after fixing whatever they wrote you up for, you ALWAYS have the option of not fixing ---- and paying about $200 more. Basically, we don't give a ---- if you actually fix it, as long as we rape your wallet.
The worst part of Ca. is the Smog checks, done for the environmental wacko's out there. My old car passed the emissions part, but during the VISUAL inspection the douche bag says, "Your timing is off, you fail" Could it have been the ADJUSTABLE TIMING GEAR? He also said he couldn't make my "cel" come on. It was on before the test, but I knew to take the bulb out before I went. Now you have to make it come on? All this after passing the emissions part. It's for the fucken environment, I was clean, no matter how my car was tuned (or untuned) I PASSED. (Couldn't smog, couldn't register, sold out of state)
---- cops, Democrats, The DMV, Gray Davis(187), and most of all California. Good job mexico, you can have it. I'm gonna go kill a cop now.

I saw a kid get a ticket last night for ------- Wreckless Driving, illegal suspension, then hes like oh well since the back is so low I'll have to get out my stick and measure how low it is it has to be blah blah blahwhen all he had was air bags and had the back lowered. The cop went through all this ---- about how driving was a privelage etc etc. Even got a ticket for taking his ------- fog lights out rediculous. And all this crap with the kid. lol Like 45 mins or so of this. Then the cop goes. Oh and btw were you hot rodding behind the place because he just got a call about it. The kids like uhh no and hes like thats what I though have a nice die. He almost impounded his ---- on the spot because he said it wasnt driving legally. And this was at a freaking big weekly car show held by the city. I even got pics of the cop yellin at him lol. Pissed that cop off lol. A BIG ---- you to that guy. Even the muscle car peeps were busting the cops nuts about it.
