Damn Cops!
Today I got pulled over by a bunch of motorcyle cops for not having a front license plate. They sure were eager to open my hood. They were like, "What mods you got?" I was like, "An extra long air intake to shove up your ***!" Not really, anyways I told them about my legal engine swap. They kept looking to find something, and wrote me up for my MSD ignition. Now I have to go get it approved by the smog ref next week. I was supposed to start my turbo install on Sunday. Now I have to wait even longer! It could be worse though, if my turbo was already installed, my car would be impounded. But still, they should find something better to do with their time, like fight crime.

I'm not sure if it was legal or not. I took some criminal law classes years ago, but can't remember. The fact that my car is a HONDA, lowered, and had visible guages might pass as probable cause. I'm definitely going to look into it though. Bastards!

if they pull you over with any cause like yer plate. And you admitt engine swaps You just gave them the right. IN CA. that is. Alsways put yer carb stickers on the ----. may look ghey but oh well or keep them in a envolope in the glove box. I havent been to cali in a few years but they sited me for my truck which was tinited windows and dropped to the max. some ---- like altered suspention i ferget now been years. original reason he pulled me was to SLOW in a residential area. I was crusin cause the damn dips would tear my ---- up lol

you know what really pisses me off...? All these exhaust manufactures such as greddy, skunk2, etc.. say that their exhaust are 50 state legal and smog approved which is all good!........ then when we get pulled over by cops thats usually the first ticket they give you...."modified exhaust" WHAT THE ----!?!?!? who the ---- said it was illegal to modify the exhaust
? It 50 state legal by the manufactures so why the ---- do they do that ----?? then the judge will still make you put the stock exhaust back on?!?! 
I thought this ---- was legal!?!?

hmm true that.
You guys need to call the exhaust manufacturers and tell them. And tell them nor you and your friends or never gonna buy there exhaust until they do sumting about it :P.
MSD illegal So how come the domestic cars have been driving with a them for years(decades) and they get no ticket. That't why my cars stays stock on the outside and modified on the inside

I hate that too. Why can pretty much any american muscle car or any redneck bigass pickup truck can have an extra loud exhaust but we can't. I have been pulled over around 6 times for this, and ticketed 3 or 4 times. One cop call the car a Honda lawnmower, and that in his day it was all about big power v8's not these little rice rocket ----. I wanted to punch him, but he let me go so it was a'ight
