damn auto auctions

This past weekend i went to the local auto auction. This was a heavy equipment auction but they bring in county Gov't stuff like repoed cars or the cars police take and sell them. There was a mint condition '90 fox body stang(5.0 of course) with 50k on odometer. It went for 3800. There was also a civic hatch in there. it was a 92 eg. 90k on the odometer but who knows if thats right. The front interior was mint but the back was stripped. I went in there because my dad was in there test driving the trucks(he drives a rig) and saw it and took it for a drive. He was like "that little car was pretty quick". I told him it was probably a peice of ---- and went over to pop the hood and there lies a b20 with b16 head. DC headers, Full exhaust(looked like off-brand but i had no idea what it was, maybe the good ol' exhaust shop-special), full nitrous set-up(didn't have time to get details, sry)and one of those goofy whale penis intake chambers. Car started, idled and ran smooth and pulled well. I couldn't make it to the auction the next day, and the damn thing went for 1800 bucks. I wanted to get it for just a track car or even build it back up, but it went for pretty cheap. Mind you thats cheap around here because you CANNOT find a eg hatch in maryland thats a reasonable price unless some rice boy fucked it allllll up. So anyways, thats my auction story...happen to anyone else? ---- they should have bought and didn't?

:P :( I know right. I can get them home, its the fact of forkin over the $$...and the wife and I are gonna buy a house when we do get back to the states....so ill sell the evo here, bring home the parts to the R and the civic and build a LHD car at home with my parts from the ITR and the EG6.

Im thinking of selling the ITR front end and buy a BC 2.0 stroker kit for the ITR motor...
