well i didn't just gut all the stuff you normally think of. i took out all the small stuff too.
and i had a carbonfiber hood. a cheap one that weighed about 5lbs with hood pins on it.
i took out the hood latch, windshield washer stuff, all emission stuff, a bunch of little things i can't think of right now.
the next thing i was gonna do is get rid of all the electrical wires i didn't need. i've heard that there is a good 15lbs of wires you don't need.
no one believed me that all that ---- weighted that much so i had my friend (b16 crx) go get his car weighted and i didn't think it was gonna be 400lbs heavier. i though he might have been in the car when they weighed it...
other people like to talk ---- about it being dangerous. they said that not having a dash would be bad in an accident. i had racing seats in it so no one is gonna be hitting the fire wall or anything like that.
