Just becareful to use the correct tap
what about a little plumbers tape on the bottom threads would that help any or am i just asking for trouble?
dont use tape just re-tap it , it only takes a few min and your all set.
does the bolt just spin and spin in the hole? or does it just get stuck and not seal if its the ladder just get a 14mm tap run it through it, i suggest putting a little grease on it to catch the metal shavings from staing in your pan, get a new crush washer and call it a day no need to drill and retap you probably either cross threaded it or got some foriegn matterial stuck in the threads
yea def make sure its not the crush washer, same thing on my accord, replaced the washer and never leaked again.
juz use white tape.. plumbing tape
Exactly, or duct tape? That works well, course you could jbweld it, and remove the oil from the dipstick hole, haha
