^ LS Rod how-to
dude, you are still wrong..... listen, the ONLY 1.5l sohc honda motor that can accept a D16 rod is the D15b. you know nothing about what you are talking about. LS rods work great when bushed to fit the D15-16 piston, BUT WILL NOT WORK IN A D15 EXCEPT THE D15B. FOR MORE THAN ONE REASON, first being its 137mm (only TWO D15s use 137mm rods D15Z1 and D15B, the rest of the D15s use 134mm RODS, the LS or any other D16 compatible ROD wont work in the D15Z1 because it uses 42mm big end bearings, but THEY DO WORK IN The D15B BECAUSE IT USES 45MM big end bearings. quit ------- arguing about something you have no clue about. its really ------- annoying.

When did I say that it will work in a 1.5? I never did. so STFU ***

if its a z6 and you want some cheap rods, get LS (b1 rods...
is what I said.

d16z6 = 1.6

no ----, i know what you said, but look at the TITLE of this thread. the guy before you said to USE D16a1 rods and pistons, so i said, ---- it if you are gonna dream up a custom bottom end why not use GSR rods, i could have said, harley davison rods or some other dumb ---- like that.

no more beef w/ you, cuz now i realize you understand 1.5l rods are differant than 1.6l rods. sorry for the MISunderstanding.

okay, to sum it up for the noob

Swap to MPFI. (google it if you dont know how to)
I would recommend doing a full Vtec engine swap instead of just getting the Vtec head, since you said about doing internal work.
Turbo the current pile while it's MPFI.
Crank the boost til she blows.
Swap in "built" d16z6

Thats it, If you run turbo edit and let your engine last for a year at low boost then build a nother bottem end in that time and when its done swap it in turn the boost up to 15psi and then gop rape everyone who thinks your car is a pile and everyone with a 60,000 $$$$ car
