Default D15B2 with MPFI racing a B16!!

Sup, me and my friend are going to be racing our 91 Civic DX hatch with D15B2 MPFI with A6 cam, adjustable cam gear, B &M Fuel pressure regulator, chikara header, full 2.5" exhaust, 1.5" lowering springs, sturt tower bar, SCI MSD iginition, 9.5 APC spark plug wires, MSD Blaster coil(45,000 volts), and cold air intake.

We don't know what the B16 has or which B16 it is so what could we do to prepare for this race tonite? We have put new plugs re gapped them, put in time, reset the vavle lashings, check the gear oil in the transmission, checked the oil, and put a brand new timing belt on. Just woundering what you guys do for checkin and testing before a race to be at tip top condition and any quick power adders. Thanks a lot for any help!

Will record and post link after the race is done and give you stats around 10-11pm.

Goddamn, most of my races are unplanned, or if they're not .. the only thing I do before I race is make the sure the e-brake is off. My grandfather once told me, "You can coat a turd in gold, but deep down it's still a stinky peice of ----." - Matt

If he has a properly swapped b16 w/ a b16 tranny you will lose by like 4 cars or so. Nothing besides some squezze or drop a dohc zc in there are you only bets of winning

I dunno you did say you had your car lowered and a strut bar. That adds about 20-25 horses, you just may keep up. :P

Sorry dude, to be blunt, your ganna loose.

I know I'm going to catch hell for saying this but B16's are slow as ----, but faster than a D15B. Throw a bottle on and your money. If you don't have a bottle, advance the ---- out of your timing and take everything off the car.

I had one of these epic races between my 90' Civic with a D16Z6 and my friends 91' Civic with a B18A. I kicked his *** like he was standing still, twice. I the instrument cluster was duct taped inside and that was the only thing in the car besides a seat and me

Gut the car like you were a mexican in a chop shop (no racial pun intended, but its the truth)

HAVE FAITH IN THE SINGLE CAM AND DRIVE IT LIKE A ----------ER
