D15 VTEC
i have a D15B2 block with a VTEC head on it
i originally had a B16z6 but i cracked the block, but the head on the new D15B2 block is from the B16 is this just called a D15VTEC or D15Z6? and does anyone noe the maximum diameter you can bore a D15B2 block? |

90mm seems to be where everyone makes the most power

if you have a d15b2 block then i would say 76mm is the most you could go without sleeving. stock is 75mm i believe.

I still find that the z6 set up is the way to go..but hey it depends on how you build it....

if you want more power from you d15b2/7 do this and you will make more than some gay expensive vtec conversion
1.z6 intake manifold 2.d16a6 camshaft w/y7 gear 3.decent header 4.cai 5. simple 2.25-2.5 exhaust and bam you will run 15s in no time without ever having to take off the head |
damn just 15s....hmmm..well maybe not shabby. but I would not put all that effort just to get 15s. but hey thats just me...I would like to put my effort into something that I know its gonna go fast....oh well
