of course it's possible. Believe it or not, people used FMU's back when engine management with a honda ECU didn't exist. It was either that or fork out $1000+ for a DFI, speedpro, or haltech. ::)

yeah, and im sure they held up quite well. ::)

they weren't ideal but they held up just fine. Of course you have to use a smaller disc other than the 12:1 but they still worked.

really. We ran a 12.1 disc 2 pumps and ran 10's on a b16a in 1998. The car also had some very off the wall ---- done for the fmu to work and well we will just say the car could barely idle and wouldnt clean up until the 50 shot was engaged. The car went to the first nhra/idrc finals on that setup and beat ed bergonholtz to do so


Fmu's are what they are. Is there a secret to making them work on race cars yup. Am I telling nope. Is there a reason to run a fmu in this world today no.
