tuning is hard at all...read up on pgmfi.org and you'll find everything you need to know about tuning. if not im sure you can find someone local to you that can tune it for you. you dont need a fuel pump. it'll be nice but for a b7 on 10psi with 450's. you shouldnt need it. i didnt use one. you can ask us any questions. its just the repetitive questions pisses everyone off because its been answered so many times and you'd probably find a thread that had that info in it. if your not comfortable tuning it yourself you should just go and let someone else do it for you. better to be safe than sorry
and also as far as wiring up the resistor box you can go buy these resistors here 10 watt 10 ohm
the easiest way to do those is to just put them on each yellow w/black strip wires coming out of the injector clips.
the other option is to wire up the resistor box
you wire the black wires on the resistor box to these wires onto the end of the injector harness
and then run the rest of the wires to the one red wire on the resistor box
if you dont know what plug im talking about its this one
and splash your finished. hahaha easy right?? yes i stole these from other threads but im putting it here to show both ways

haha thanks! i'll probably do the resistor method.
right now it looks like i'll do uberdata over crome... it has the windows interface and seems to have a larger user base (more support).
yes i don't know squat about tuning.... i already posted a thread asking for a rom map for me.... knowing me i'd probably blow my car up if i tried to tune it myself.
question - can my d15b vtec (JDM) on a p28 run a d16y or d16z program with similar injectors/turbo/etc?
i have seen many people boost the d16 engines, but not a lot on the d15b vtec.

I'm not a big fan of 10 ohm resistors. OEM resistor boxes are ~6.8 ohms, with the 10 ohm units you drop a large portion of your electromotive force across the resistor and not the injector. Pffft.
D15B V-tech is "close enough" to use Z6 program as a BASEMAP. In a speed density system, someone else's program is at best a BASEMAP.

so we meet again.
haha, ok back to business. since i cannot program or tune for ----, and it will probably take me months to "learn" uberdata, i guess i'll be running a basemap for awhile.... zerodaze's d16 basemap for "up to 10 psi"... i have no idea what that means to me, but i will use that one. (i did a search and everyone that had a d15b turbo that asked for a map only received his in a response).
someday i'll get this sucker tuned and post a map for a 10psi turbo d15b, haha!
BTW that maximum boost book is on order, i thought you'd like to know that Mr. Joseph Davis

its not on there (for some reason).
at any rate, can anyone provide a link?
thanks a bunch!

Wow you made it over here too! Yes even D-series has its own Hotrex member...Oscar. Except I think Oscar can take him lol! We sort of just let him post but he sure does annoy the hell out of alot of people, myself included and he knows it :P Welcome to HMT its a very strange place to be but you will find some good info. That is IF you can handle all the bs. So far it looks like you are well on your way to being self tought and edjucated on this subject. Keep it up you might get a rookie of the day award!
