do you think the fact you ran with uberdata had anything to do with that? i mean, if you had kept the eManage do you still think it would have done that? i wonder why greddy was telling me that my stock injectors can handle 7 psi? don't they have a bunch of high-paid engineers and perform their own testing?

I had put a Competition cam in as well and the extra Air flow is what probably did me in. I have since rebuilt the motor, put head studs in, a higher capacity Fuel Pump and 450cc Correct Inject Injectors. I am in the process of retuning with the bigger injectors. Uberdata is great( had nothing to do with the melt down). I bought my Greddy kit for 1300 shipped and sold the emanage on Ebay for over $200.00. and bought an intercooler. Its better to be safe than sorry.If you are going to chip your ECU you definately go with the bigger injectors. From what I have seen of Csaddicts posts, He's a helper not a hater.

iflyebye - i think that is what i'm going to do. already have the DSM 450's on order and am in the process of squaring away the ECU. probably will run crome as that was recomended by someone else to run with DSMs.... will sell the emanage on ebay. the tricky part is the resistor deal. someone on d-series did a writeup on how to do the resistors yourself, but its about as clear as mud to me. i have seen those resistor boxes on ebay with the clips on one end.... will that work for me? what did you do on yours?
