d piston question

Default d piston question

im going to be building my y8 block shortly. block fill,all new seals bearings,balaced crank,tunertoy rods, not sure about pistons im curious how much can brand new ones hold stock before i fry the ringlands? ill probably have to go srp since i wanna run my 48/60 maybe on like 17pounds or more

wisco or cp pistons are nice. one of my friends has wisco pistons in a b16 he dyno'd at 330hp at 12psi but he fried the ringland and cylinder one is no longer any good he says.

why use stocks? if your gonna be in the bottom end you might as well do it all at once, forged slugs will run you about 400, and the stocker would probably only hold up to like 225 or maybe 250 but not for long. (just a guesstimate) just do it right the first time, i know its expensive but its worth it.

yea i will probably go with srps or whatever i find at the time when i have the money .. i suppose i should do it right.. thanks for ur input tho
