That's not true. I can afford to build a turbo GSR and swap it in my car, but I am still going with my d-series.

False. If I got one for free I would have one. I could buy one of those if I really wanted to, but we're talking about a victim for our hmt kits. My priority lays in buying a house, having extra cash, and just living life with my built d series. Just because I "could" afford it doesn't mean I should have one. We're only looking for our victims, and my victim is a free d16y8. And I didn't have to buy new mounts to put it in either.
And if you bought your car with a B series in it, for christs sake, work with it. We're not saying that you should swap out your Ls motor for a D series, we're saying if you have a civic/crx, you can get plenty of streetable horsepower from your D series. I'm building my first D series right now. I might want to build a B someday, but that would only be after I tap out a D series to the point where I would feel it's neccesary. Oh yeah, D series foe lizzife, nekkkka!!!!!

I think for most people it is budget. Not necesarily how rich you are, but how much of your money you are willing to put into your car. You could have a ton of money, but if you don't really care about your car enough to spend it on that, then you won't.

I think the main advantage for the D is so that people can say they're single cam is faster than a dual cam. Its always fun to be the underdog.

Don't forget to up grade your security when you get or have b's. I heard a guy not from around where i'm from but he lives in the burbs get his type r flat bed from his driveway, and no it wasn't the marshall. If i blow my engine w/ my hmt i have a second engine waiting in storage. And i got it for FREE. I could get d's like flys eat ----. Don't get me wrong b's are nice but to many people want them and to many guys to to little towns to steal them.

60-75 % of my money goes into upgrading my car...I'm a college student and I don't get a lot of money.
I can get ZC here for 100-200 a pop with tranny and everything.....no one wants the ZC's here and a B16 swap is $1500 and up. with that money I can make me a nice HMT kit and kill a B16 or I could get the B16 and have no money left to go faster.
Right now I'm getting my insurance money and I'll be building a ZC....going to boost 20 psi or more at the track. If I would get a B16 I would have enoug money for a half assed HMT turbokit and wouldn't even touch the HP of the build ZC.

And there aren't a lot of D16A6 here .... they only sold a few civic Si's here and the Crx's here all came with a ZC or a B16. So the ZC would have to do
