my hood on my car is ----, its been kicked, jumped on, stood on, spray painted on, etc.

i thought about cutting some vents in the front over the turbo, to suck heat out kinda like i think evo's have, or maybe even doing a top mount intercooler in setup im wqorking on, or just cutting a square and mounting my side mount intercooler face up flush with the top of the hood just for ghettoness.

what u guys think? how do those stock cars like subarus and evo's keep water from getting all over the engine bay? i dont want all my wiring going bad or somthin, i guess those cars are just wind tunnel designed maybe so stuff flows over the holes?

Just take the hood off, that'll keep it cool. Who cares about water in there, you think it doesnt get soaked when you drive in the rain through puddles anyway?!?

i was told by police i cant do that. i used to drive a 90 hatch around with no hood, it ripped off on the highway
