I was finally able to take pictures. This intercooler is the bizomb! It fits perfect on a 6g civic. It mounted so easy, even easier than my POS GReddy type31. Best of all, no pressure drop even with a 2.5 inch piping all the way! Boosting 10 psi on the ghetto 'hack'. No pinging, stock internals, stock fuel pump. Dyno schedule at the end of this month.

I sold the GReddy Type31 FMIC already for $255 with piping....he he he i came out even (actually made $5) on this considering that i only paid $250 for my IC from Anthony.

Still stock D16y8 at 10psi playing around with the AFC Hack

you got one you're giving away?
it's about third or fourth on the list of to-do items.
1. techedge 2.0 (this week)
2. stage 2 or 3 clutch (still running stock)
3. '96-'00 ex tranny (better gearing-closer together)
4. ex intake manifold
5. spare shortblock to build up for when i can up the boost to 15psi
6. hondata to go to 15 psi (goes in when new block does)

of course if i come across a great deal on one it might get bumped up.

5 and 6 are a long way off. i'm happy with 10psi and the hack for now. 15 psi on sohc will be cool in the future, plus the engines are so cheap for now.

naw i aint giving on away. iam trying to buy one off a guy a school. he hydrolocked his engine and is doing a b16 swap so ill try to get that off him

I just put the Y8 IM on my Y7 two weeks ago....it took about two days because I got the STUPID ASS air injection IM and didn't know it. I had to JB weld the air injection holes shut and get the year 2000 IM gasket. Then I reused the DX air box by putting the box behind the pass. side headlight and running the MONSTER FLOW DX intake tube to the EX TB. It feels like a solid 6-8 HP gain even with the stock DX intake. Don't worry I'm only using this setup till it's boosted(which should be another 10 years)
