well, here's where i'm at... engine and tranny are in... megasquirt is built... harness is bought...
still to do: gut the car... installed clutch pedal... installed shifter assembly... finish drive shaft... wire up engine...

for those not "up to par" on beamers, here's what i've got. it's an '86 E30 with the engine for an '84 735 and the 5spd transmission from an '85 535. basically, it's a normally aspirated (for now) bmw 335... i have plans for it being a dedicateed track toy... planning on running MSnS Extra with EDIS ignition for it. looking at getting my wideband, anyone know if that 14point7 control is MS compatible? anyway, here are the pics...













(old radiator installed to work out the spacing... less than 2 inches between water pump and radiator)

no, no kidde seats in this one (but by '89 4 door does). my daughter told me last weekend that we need to work on the race car so we can go racing, but that i'll need to buy her a helmet so she can race too.... is 4 to early to get the racing bug
