CRX Si ---> ZC Swap - Can I Keep A/C
I am planning a ZC swap into my 1991 CRX Si. Can I keep the A/C in there if I plan to add a turbo?
Thanks Jon Black |

there arent many manifolds that will let you keep your AC. and no you wont be able to use a HF manifold and keep your AC...

I have a Civc with Headers, DX head and A/C. I know i have to get rid of the headers for my Turbo project, however, i just read this: "there arent many manifolds that will let you keep your a/c" If there are, which ones are they???? Cos i cant live without a/c, specially in this country! |
Re:CRX Si ---> ZC Swap - Can I Keep A/C
i think that RevHard makes a manifold that will let you keep your AC. or you could build a custom manifold...

:P
Sorry to bug, but do you have any websites with a diagram of one of those? Or pics. Thanx. |
Re:CRX Si ---> ZC Swap - Can I Keep A/C
The AC system will bolt directly onto your ZC setup no problem. You can keep AC if you want to use the Greddy Turbo kit for the 92-95 civic. But alot of people here use custom setups using the hf/std manifold, and both of those manifolds will not allow you to use the AC system.

I'm gonna be making some D-series manifolds that will support A/C pretty soon, I'll do my best to keep them affordable...

i think most of the kits allow you to keep you ac. its fairly easy to do so. especially on the ef and ed9's.
greddy gets a ++++ from me. |
