I saw a "rally" CRX go on ebay for $5000...
D16a6 with a port and polish job.. stock everything (including suspension), stripped interior, the big ass headlights, and lots of stickers. Oh, and bunch of rust and dents and scratches. I emailed the guy, he said he dynoed it at 160 hp or something... on 110 octane ;) Too bad it was my car with stickers. ::) |

i use to have a rally (field) civic. it was an 82 hatch, it held up really well.

we had an old jeep we used to run through feilds, that about the closest to rally ive been. ---we had a geo storm try to go where we went in the feild. (they were tryin to kick our ass) ::)

Thanks for your input guys, it gives me a boost of confidence. It may not be fast on te straits, but in the corners i hope i could make up time.

In rally its not how fast you go, its who can keep their car on the road and who doesnt break.
You see all kinds of slow ass cars out there, subaru justy's and stuff. Dirt and gravel is the great equalizier. Just make sure to get it all planned as to what class you would like to enter so that you keep in a "budget" class and dont end up with the WRX's and Evo's |
