saw this crx the other day. its a 1989 hf no tranny w/ a b18a in passender seat, needs some work. how much do you think its worth. took some pic today.

The quarter panels look good, w/ a LS motor I would say its a good deal for $600

88 and 89 HF's are lite as ----. $600 with an LS swap is a ------- steal. Just gut the ---- out of it and make it a fun project car.

How exactly do you gut an HF? The rear plastic is 5 lbs. :-*

Eh I'm sure you could find a working cable b-series tranny fairly cheap. Talk him down a little if you can.

Well do you need another car for anything? It does need work (body, paint, tranny), but ---- you could part it out for what your paying for it if you decide you don't want it anymore (racing seat, shell, motor, shell).

Frankly, it's a beaten on by riceboys pile of ---- car... but you aren't going to find any CRXs in any better condition for a price you'd want to pay. They are getting scarce. Wait ten years and you'll hardly see them, except with large pricetags.

Money talks.. my friend was selling his S10 for $2400, pretty solid on the price, guy calls him up says he wants to check it out... says he likes it, whips out $2000 in 100's and says "want to make a deal?"... exchanged the cash right there, sold!

Show him $450 in cash and see if he talks...

take off the passenger fender and see what it looks like. That civic fender may be hiding something.

Needs some work and the rims gotta go, but I'd sure as hell buy it. Wish I could find a crx that isn't riced or dented to hell in my area for that price.

Why not just pay the $600 that isnt to bad at all.Check to make sure it is straight and not rotten but other then that go for it.

looks like its got some front end damage. Or ---- is just badly misaligned. All n all i'd pay 600 for a rust free rex with an ls motor in the passenger seat :y

i finally ended getting it last nigh for 500 :-\ towed it w/ my friends tag. dont have time to work on it at all b/c im turboing my tow truck :6

i ended up selling the b18 for 300bux so it ended up costing me only 200 like bbka said.

didnt have ANY of the other stuff so im just doing a z6 build.

no idea. they look like prelude but they have a diff. bolt pattern. so i dont know. i only have three so i need to find one more but no idea where to look. :S

i just got mine like 2 weeks ago and it is in pretty good condition. Only has 3 dents in the entire car and the paint on the hood is starting to fade. I came up on that for 900. Its a complete rex , now im looking into a gsr or a h22 that they are selling to me for 4k. What you guys think? A complete crx with h22, buket seats, roll cage, full h2 set-up, rims, dropped for 5k or a GSR motor with hasport mounts and 3rd gear starting to slip for 3,500 ?? im debating about this and i got 3k in my pocket right now.. help me please. imo i think the other complete crx with a h22 but the gsr is ready for turbo.

Excellent buy, but IMO you should have stayed with the B series.
