I bought mine for 300 dollars. It didn't run at the time, but a little tightening of the screws on the coil solved that problem.

i bought my first 1g crx si for $500.then junked it. then i boought another 87 crx dx for $500...couldnt do anything with it. i tried to sell it, but no one wanted it...i even lowered the price to $400. good thing i kept that one..thats the one im building up

also on another note..my friend just sold his 87 crx dx for $100..and it didnt even have any cracked panels

The 1st gen crx is basically thrown away. I got mine for 200 bucks with brand new tires on some ex hubs. problem is most people dont want to deal with the carbed versions. I bought mine to do a high comp all motor d w/45 mm webers. Still have mostly everything but making a living has gotten in the way of really getting involved with the car.

I only paid 500 bucks for my 89 crx si..drove it home and all..all it needed was a drivers fender.

In the past month or so I've had 3 people walk up to me and ask about buying my CRX. Just recently it was an OLD guy at a drive-thru asking if I'd sell it, told him no cuz I just bought it, he said he's trying to find a 91 yellow si, told him not selling mine (again), and he asked what I paid, told him $2000, he said he'd pay $3000...told him no (a third time) because I have a block in the process of being built and turboed....he asked where i found it and my phone rang so I ignored him and he left in his rsx type-s.

They do go for pretty good amounts, if you look in autotraders and stuff. The two I've had both came from individuals that were just trying to get rid of them.

Got both for 800....one had a b16a in it but didnt run.....dude gave up on it.....(was the harness)
the other had a d15 but ran.....


2 weeks b4 that i got a HF shell for 800....

i picked up my old 90 dx rex for 1900 of ebay....mind u it was auto.....

Shyt prices have raised a gang in the last year if u think about it....My buddy chris had a super clean 91 si with a SIR front end an rear....swapped a semi built Ls/vtec swap in the bitch and only got 5k for it. And when i say it was clean i mean ------- cherry....A/c and powersteering still.....i wish i would have swooped on it
