i dunno how the ---- to word this so blah

i'm 6'4 240 would i be reasonably comfortable in a CRX? i can trade my stang straight up for an 89 Si with only 99k original miles but no1 around here has a crx that i can sit in/drive to see if i'd be comfortable and the crx is in PA

89 CRX Si with 99K original miles on it, AEM intake, Hayame Exhaust, Polk components, Kenwood Amp, 8" JL Sub, Sony Deck, Perfect exterior and interior. new battery

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

its bigger for the pilot than my gsr is

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

i'm definately considering it, but it'll end up being a couple of months easily before i'd even be able to go get it

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

Crx's do have a ---- load of room in them, my dad was surprised how much leg room he had. Hes 6"2 230 and he fit in the pass seat no problem

Sikocivic 02-13-2005 12:18 PM

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

Only problem might be with headroom. The Si has a moonroof that slide into the roof. That takes up about 1" of headroom.

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

I'm 6'5" only 160 though. I fit more comfotably in my 90 hatch with a non-adjustable sparco seat then any other car other then my 91 accord!

My bud is 6'7" and he has no problem with my car either and he also drive a 94 coupe.

im 6'3 200 pounds i had a crx you could put that seat so far back dont worry

crxrx7 02-13-2005 01:49 PM

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

I am 5'8" and if I put the seat all the way back I think I would have a good 8"-10" for my feet on the passanget side. I have a dx with no sunroof and the head room is good.

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

im 6'5 and fit just fine in my hatch (bout the same room actually less in a hatch cause of the back seat) you should be fine .. although you need to boost that rex soon as you get it

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

how much can the 351 windsor block support random? ive seen allot of old guys run low 11's on drag radials with supercharged winsors but I dont know any exact hp figures so i was guessing about 430ish hp and 500 torque. but i also dont know what gears there running maybe a 3.75 since there street cars.

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

or is it the heads that crack? also i thought the stock pistons in some of thoes were hypereutectic, and if so they would crack from the high ass silicon amount in a fi engine? hell im not sure ???

good figure to go buy is the block is done by 650HP most don't last that long and are done by about 600

yeah around there, they're stronger than the late model 302cid motors, and the 351 cylinders arent siamesed or anythin so they're fairly stout

im 5'4", ~130 lbs, fit in my crx fine, and have no real contribution to this thread.

That junx looks clean though, from that side. How much does he want for it (i know your trading), just curious. good luck man, i would do it. Later,

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

I'm 6'2" and around 325, yeah, I'm a big mofucker, and I fit better in my hatch, more confortably, than in the WRX, seriously, you'll be fine in the CRX.

DO IT, DO IT(starsky and hutch voice out)

The sunroof slides up ontop of the roof so im pretty sure it dosn't take up hardley any headroom at hall.

Re:CRX Owners ... quick question

Yea i was suprised when i bought my rex it has a lot of room in it and I know a bunch of big guys that say they fit in them well. I'm only like 5'10" 170 and I fit with plenty of room. Where in Pa is that I'm near Philly I wouldn't mind taking that if you don't, could always us another one and if you aren't to far away I'd let you sit in mine...Matt
