Meh. Car's a stripped out peice of ----.

No full interior, air conditioning, cruise control, stock looking, running 10's... no care.

Re: CRX FIRST TO BREAK 10'S ON RADIALS

In my opinion it is still quick, but it isn't a street car either, well maybe it is street legal, but not with all the comforts and shits a street car should have.

Nevertheless nice run, but I doubt he is the first. Tell them to run slicks now, once they get a good 9 second run, they can brag about it.

This just in... Jim Hucks and his Stage 6 Motorsports CRX are officially the first ever 10 second FWD Drag Radial car. The Bradenton Race set the background for an amazing run of 10.90 seconds @ 140.8 MPH. so actually it IS a record....and go on the site...its got FULL interior...ac and all....hasport mount, so go on the site, read, watch the video, the read the part about a RECORD...10's is fast for a no vtec imo.

The whole street tire thing is cool and all but Im more impressed with a car that is daily driven, has a full comfortable interior, can be driven in hot city traffic all day and with a simple chage of the tires will run 10's or nines.

Sounds like it's a record for the class he entered the car in, or maybe just Florida. Brian Hunt has a couple of mid-10 street tire Honduhs for YEARS now, once a CRX with only 450 whp despite HT claiming you need 700 whp to go that fast, it all boils down to really really good driving.

Well, since the record for a bone stock LS head on a built 2.0 block is in the 700-800 whp range, goes to show how much you know on the subject. Aside from what you read about OMG JDM VTEC DAWG in Stupid Street.
