CRX Blinkers and Hazards not working?

Hey guys, I posted on Honda-Tech which is where I would assume I would have found my answer but no one really seems to want to help. So I figured I'd turn to the experienced professionals of HMT.

My 1988 Honda CRX Si will not turn on it's turn signals or hazards.
Flipping the switch does nothing, the fuse in the corner which I believe is the correct one looks fine, and the wire going into the blinker mechanism looks fine.
Pulled the blinker out of my 91 and plugged it in, still didn't work.
Not only will the blinker lights turn on, but the indicators in the gauge pod that let you know when your turn signals are on also do not blink or click.

WTF?!

check all of your fuses, not just the blinker circuit. any other electrical oddities?

if you messed with your lights at all then check there, make sure all your bulbs are working.

check ur grounds. similar to a problem my buddy had in his ef hatch- his engine/radiator support ground wasn't connected!

Check the fuse for blinkers/taillights/sidemarkers/dash lights. Even if it looks fine, replace it. If that doesn't fix it, start tracing wires looking for the short.
